Phoenix Administrators LLC was opened for business in 2011 by Melissa Bruno, a 30 year veteran of the medical billing industry. After the in-house billing department she was employed in was "down-sized" after a company sale to a large foreign corporation, Ms. Bruno found herself unemployed for the first time in her adult life and living in a state with one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. Without wasting much time, Ms. Bruno took matters into her own hands and began plans of beginning her own medical billing service. Thus Phoenix Administrators LLC came to life.
Ms. Bruno knew immediately that the playing field in medicine was changing, especially for the small practice and individual physicians. With the continual roll out of new HIPAA regulations, EHR requirements, performance measuring and pressure to join larger practices for survival, Ms. Bruno knew immediately that her client group would be those same providers fighting to stay open in an effort to practice medicine in the way they felt was best. Phoenix would help them do so by stabilizing their cash flow and collecting on every claim. It remains our purpose and mission to help providers have the practice they want to have, whether small, large or growing.
Today, Phoenix Administrators LLC is continuing to provide personal service to all of their clients. Through site visits, video calls or email communication, we are often thought of as staff members rather than subcontractors. The Phoenix staff continues to grow with experienced professionals that are dedicated to our company and our clients. Our future remains on the same mission of "Continual learning, efficient effective procedures and personal attention."
